I had the misfortune of seeing this film at a press screening during the 2008 Toronto Film Festival. It is truly appalling - perhaps the worst Hollywood film ever foisted on the public. In fact, it is an insult to the public. Hopefully it will never be released. For some reason, studio executives keep putting Jennifer Aniston in films. Why? This movie may finally end her career. Her character has no personality, she is charmless, gormless, and just plain awful. Steve Zahn, usually so dependable (see "Shattered Glass") plays his character as a mentally-challenged 12-year-old. Terrible. Woody Harrelson is simply on a different planet. The only acting comes from the always superb Margo Martindale. This movie is a travesty from beginning to end. Whoever gave this the green light in Hollywood should be deep-sixed off Catalina Island. Appalling!
